The Chauvel Border Light Horse Trail

Background

The Chauvel Border Light Horse Trail has been developed to allow Australians to explore the commemorative monuments and artwork that acknowledge the contribution and sacrifices of the Australian Light Horse from the Boer War through to WW2.  It is the first of several trails planned by the Foundation.

The trail traverses the NSW-Victorian border and spans from Shepparton in the south, through the high country and across to Wagga Wagga.  Download your copy of the trail below.

The trail is also visible on Google Maps.  The online version can be reached at this link.  Images of the monuments and artworks are shown in the Google Maps version of the trail.

If you would like to help us maintain the map, you can purchase a printed copy of the map for $5.00 (which includes postage and handling).  This offer is only available within Australia.  Click here to purchase the paper copy of the map.
